Immu Nyström Skrevet I går kl. 07:36 Rapporter Share Skrevet I går kl. 07:36 Hello, My house has a very old (1998) version of the IHC and I'm looking for a (more if not the latest) modern version of the controller for the system. I heard they don't manufacture these any longer, can anyone guide me to a possible source for it, please. Best regards, Immu Citér Link til kommentar Del på andre sites
Lars1 Besvaret I går kl. 08:24 Rapporter Share Besvaret I går kl. 08:24 The end of life for the LK IHC controller, was announced on 31/8-2023, but I don't think that press release is available anymore. Before the EOL announcement, the controller had been on backorder for almost a year, and those backorders were never fulfilled. Beside that, it's not just the LK IHC controller that is no longer being manufactured. It's the whole LK IHC suite of products that is end of life, both cabled and wireless. Most of the LK IHC components has been sold out for over a year now. Unless there is a problem with your current controller, I would stick with that one until you plan to replace the entire LK IHC installation. The Visual 3 LK IHC controller is NOT very stable. Mine were not even 5 yours old before I had to have it replaced as it stopped working completely. It's only the visual 3 controller that can be replaced if it breaks, but only for a few more years. After that, there is NO support at all for LK IHC. Immu Nyström 1 Citér Link til kommentar Del på andre sites
Immu Nyström Besvaret 5 timer siden Forfatter Rapporter Share Besvaret 5 timer siden Thank you, Lars, for the input. I guess you're right. Any advise on a solution that would replace the IHC control units but could use the same infra would be greatly appreciated. Citér Link til kommentar Del på andre sites
Lars1 Besvaret 4 timer siden Rapporter Share Besvaret 4 timer siden This thread https://www.ihc-user.dk/forum/forums/topic/10812-hvad-er-alternativerne-til-lk-ihc/ has a list of alternatives, but it's in Danish unfortunately. KNX is probably the solution that is closest to LK IHC, but it's pretty expensive. Loxone could be a cheaper alternative, but I have zero experience with it. Most of the wireless solutions requires a complete replacement of LK IHC, although there is now gateways available, which can be used for connecting LK IHC I/O modules to Zwave of Zigbee. But you can read more about it all in the thread I linked earlier. Citér Link til kommentar Del på andre sites
