  1. Ok, no good solution so i used Home Assistant rule to switch this OFF as soon as Twilight goes ON. Now works as a whole even original IHC program does not.
  2. OK, now fixed. Henning pointed out good testing using white cable loose to see, if this is working. And yes, it worked. For some odd reason original output port did not work (kept ON all time even forced OFF) and changed to another output port. Now it works.
  3. You are right. As keypad did not work properly with 6.2.01 so tested using 6.1.03 to handle keyboard only. Works ok but as this led issue was not corrected via this, will switch back to 6.2.01 only.
  4. Great, will test this option! Installation as such (HW) cannot be wrong as none has changed, then issue must in my SW config...
  5. Yes, this status change happens but light do not change. But will start to deepdive this again when back to my holiday home next time where this setup is installed. Keep you posted
  6. Yes, that what confuses me. I have had this installed and worked with Visual Controller 1 and changed that to Visual Controller 3. All cabling and programming (that is same..as all needed to reprogrammed) is as before. And as said, keypad works and alarm activate/deactivate from keyboard. When press keys, red light flashes but as activation is done working, light on keyboard is green :( Do not know what actually controls that light color.

  8. Another issue. I use keypad to activate burglar alarm with this way: eg. when keyboard activates, it will tell 6.2.01.b that activation is ok. And this works fine so alarm is activated and de-activated normally from keyboard BUT light is always GREEN. Red flashes onlu when press keys but no stay red on activated state (as it should)....what's wrong here...?
  9. Hi. I have all aspects in use of 1.4.01.c as you see here: This works fine except as when evening comes and twilight activates, it put light ON even no need to do so. And it will stay on until someone use Constant -button or PIR is activated. In my understanding this Twilight -option should only activate PIR usage, not put light ON. How to fix this? Petteri
  10. Firmware is supporting also English. After installation it was in Danish but you can switch language to English from up right corner. (based on my experience of Visual 3 latest firmware)
  11. Hi. I did this change from v1 to v3 just recently and noticed following All programming must do with new software. It's not so much different than with v1 but logic is bit different. Quite easy to learn especially for you as there is Youtube videos and proper documentation material available in Danish. But not in English, that was hindering my project a bit. Hope that you have a proper documentation (on paper) available of connected ports, it helps a lot making new program. It is possible to run old v1 and new v3 software at same time in computer thus you can have your current v1 project open on another window and same time creating new v3 project. I did whole programming beforehand so actual switchover was pretty simple. Main thing is to mark all cables properly before loosing those from old controller. Then it's easy and error free connect those to new controller. Network connection part takes some effort to configure it right but luckily, again there is a good documentation available. Some parts of more complex automation i actually did with Homeassitant, that i integrated with IHC. Overall i am quite happy of this switch and new functionalities that network connection brought.
  12. Hi, Vladimir! Did you found your SW already? I have now switched my IHC WIN v1 to IHC Visual Controller v3 and found original SW CD including UK version v1.32.
  13. Thanks, this is the same version i got from IHC support. Nice to see it’s available also ”in public”
  14. Contact Technical Support Denmark <dk-ts@schneider-electric.com> . They can (hopefully) help . I have Finnish version (1.32) if that helps...
  15. Yep, personally i am now happy as my invest 10+ years ago was upgradable with reasonable costs for "internet era", have those couple basic wireless products i need and have relatively easy connection for OpenHAB/Homeassistant etc to fulfill my home automation needs. This will now work for decades for my needs. Then another story is first Schneider overall support strategy and secondly IHC future as such. Support i have already said some of my opinions :) Anyhow i would expect full support (and language versions) available for at least 10+ years for all users they have sold their solutions. IHC future seems to be to vanish some day as KNX or even these open source solutions (Raspberry PI + additional boards + SW packages) might overtake. Time will show.
  16. Yes, all this type of "backup solutions" are possible. But why an earth this size of an company plays around with language support? That just do not make sense and gives very bad customer support experience. Bit same as if i look old version of IHC (V1) that was available in many languages. Now i see only DK version, no others. As they still have these available, why just not make those downloadable for all? But to get this UK version support, we just need to push support email info that yes, UK support is needed now and in the future.
  17. Hi. Finally reached support ( Technical Support Denmark <dk-ts@schneider-electric.com>) and YES, they DO have Visual 3 English version available. It's one version older than current newest (seems to be 3.4.69.3) but for me it's perfect. As after discussing for a while with technician, seems that they think there is not so much usage of UK version, that in my eyes, is totally false. Rather they should make UK only (sorry you Danish..) that ALL users could use these products. Now they think that none outside Denmark uses Visual 3. Of course there will be no users if all documentation is Danish only..... As IHC V1 and V2 were widely used all over Europe, i would assume many of these (especially V1 users like me) would like to switch to V3 to get new features and proper LAN connections. Also when you invest on your house electric system, i would expect full support for ten's of years. Anyhow if there would be enough users asking UK version, i assume they would keep full support also UK version. So now all of you (and maybe even those who not necessary need UK version ) would now just send request to have UK supported also in the future, they might keep that officially available also in the future.
  18. Thanks for fast reply. Yes, i read this earlier but it did not solve my issue to be a lazy guy Dunno would those old version files work for Visual 3, guess partially might but not all..right? I assume only way to deal this is to either do translation by myself (and hope not very fast new versions out) or do it in Danish... These Captain or Homeassitant and others will not solve my issue as i anyhow need to use Visual own to create needed logic? P

    Visual 3 in English

Hi. I am in the middle of project to switch from Visual 1 to Visual 3. As i downloaded SW, was very surprised that it was on Danish only. Yes, i have read now those discussions on Visual 2 -section and noticed same problems there. Have to admit cannot understand LK's decision to use Danish only (UK only would have been much more understandable) as IHC was sold widely earlier also scandinavia (like i am from Finland). But i am not very keen to start translate all those files to English so just checking, have someone really done that translation or does know, it's available somewhere? In worst case i can do this also in Danish but it would slow down all work quite a bit. And Visual 3 (nor 2) cannot intake/translate Visual 1 project files Friendly, Petteri
